DTF Print Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best print quality with your DTF transfers from Inkjet Xpress, please follow these artwork guidelines carefully. Proper setup = vibrant colors, clean edges, and zero issues during printing. 🖨️✨

✅ File Format

PNG only (no JPEGs, PDFs, PSDs, or AI files)
Must have a transparent background
No background boxes, white shapes, or extra layers

📂 Upload one flattened PNG file per design or gang sheet

📐 Resolution & Sizing

🔍 300 DPI (dots per inch) minimum — low-res files will print pixelated
🔲 Design should be sized to print dimensions (ex: 10"x12" if that’s what you want printed)
🛑 Do not submit artwork that needs resizing unless you clearly request it

🌈 Color Mode

Use CMYK color mode for the most accurate print result 🎨
RGB colors may shift or appear off when printed
Black should be rich black (C:60, M:60, Y:60, K:100) for deepest coverage
Avoid extremely light or translucent colors — they may not show well on fabric

🔳 Design Considerations

Remove unnecessary blank space around your design
Avoid extremely thin lines or low-opacity elements
Leave enough spacing between graphics if you’re building a gang sheet
Text should be converted to outlines before export (if using vector software)

🧩 Gang Sheet Tips

Arrange multiple designs in one PNG to save cost
Use transparent spacing between elements
Final gang sheet should be exactly the size you're ordering (ex: 22" x 60")
Use canvas dimensions in your design software that match your selected sheet size

🚫 White backgrounds (must be transparent)
🚫 Low-res (under 150 DPI) files
🚫 Incorrect sizes (don’t upload a 24" design for a 12" sheet)
